Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to develop, enhance, test, implement, document, and support business-critical application systems within our technology environment.
The role will be involved across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, application development, API integration, database development, testing, implementation, technical documentation, production support, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Java/Spring development, API integrations, relational databases, and enterprise application support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop simple to complex business application systems.
- Analyze business and technical requirements.
- Prepare technical and SDLC documentation.
- Develop and maintain program modules.
- Perform unit, module, and system testing.
- Prepare test data and testing documentation.
- Estimate development effort and delivery timelines.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and system impact.
- Support implementation and production troubleshooting.
- Apply secure-development practices, application logging, audit logging, exception handling, and debugging standards.
- Coordinate with QA, Infrastructure, Architecture, Business, and Support teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure application reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Preferred
- Experience with Unix or AIX environments.
- Experience with ASP.NET or .NET technologies.
- Experience using GitLab.
- Experience using Microsoft TFS.
- Experience with Crystal Reports.
- Experience with MongoDB or MarkLogic.
- Front-end development experience.
- Banking, payments, fintech, or transaction-processing system experience.
Pay: Php90,000.00 - Php120,000.00 per month
