Key Responsibilities
WordPress s Front-End Development
- Develop, customize, and maintain Holiday Factory’s WordPress websites.
- Build responsive and mobile-first web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
- Customize WordPress themes, templates, plugins, and page builders.
- Convert UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional web pages.
- Develop campaign pages, promotional pages, travel package pages, forms, and other digital assets.
- Ensure websites function consistently across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
Website Performance s Optimization
- Monitor and improve website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.
- Identify and resolve front-end errors, broken functionality, compatibility issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize images, scripts, CSS, plugins, and other website resources.
- Continuously improve website usability, navigation, and customer journey.
IT s Technical Support
- Work with the IT team to maintain website availability, security, backups, and updates.
- Troubleshoot WordPress, hosting, domain, SSL, plugin, theme, and front-end issues.
- Maintain proper development, testing, deployment, and version-control practices.
- Coordinate with hosting providers, software vendors, and third-party developers when required.
- Support integrations with APIs, CRM systems, booking systems, payment gateways, analytics tools, and other third-party platforms.
SEO, Analytics s Digital Integration
- Implement technical SEO best practices.
- Support integration and maintenance of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, tracking pixels, and other digital tools.
- Ensure website structure and content support search visibility and performance.
- Work with Marketing to ensure campaigns, tracking, and landing pages are technically implemented correctly.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Sales, Product, and Management to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Translate business requirements into practical and scalable web solutions.
- Provide technical recommendations to improve website functionality, customer experience, and business performance.
- Manage multiple development requests and prioritize tasks according to business impact.
Required Qualifications s Skills
- 2–4+ years of experience in Front-End Development, with strong WordPress experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
WordPress
HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript
Responsive Web Design
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization.
- Strong experience with Elementor or similar WordPress page builders.
- Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of website security, performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Understanding of technical SEO and web analytics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
