We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and support predictive analytics platforms and data-driven applications. The role focuses on Python backend development, RESTful APIs, and Azure cloud technologies, while also providing technical leadership and collaborating with data scientists, actuaries, product owners, and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will contribute to solution design, mentor other engineers, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and production readiness of analytics-enabled applications.

Provide technical leadership for analytics applications, APIs, and backend services.
Contribute to solution architecture, engineering standards, and best practices.
Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services for analytical applications.
Develop and integrate reliable and scalable RESTful APIs.
Build and support cloud-native applications using Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, Blob Storage, and Azure SQL.
Lead and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, documentation, and quality assurance.
Support production releases, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Identify and address application risks, performance issues, and technical bottlenecks.
Collaborate with data scientists, actuaries, product owners, and technology teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
8–12 years of professional experience in software engineering, backend development, or analytics platforms.
Strong hands-on experience with Python for enterprise-grade applications.
Proven experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience with cloud-native and serverless architectures, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Solid experience with SQL and data warehouse platforms such as Azure SQL or Snowflake.
Experience supporting production systems and user-facing applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
