ForgeResume (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the website forgeresume.work and provides an AI-powered resume analysis service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using ForgeResume, you agree to the practices described here.
When you upload a resume, we process the text content of your PDF or DOCX file to provide ATS analysis and improvement suggestions. This may include your name, contact information, work history, education, and skills.
If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication data (via Google OAuth or magic link). We do not store passwords.
We automatically collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data helps us maintain and improve the service.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or billing details. We receive only a transaction confirmation and your email address to activate your plan.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your resume content for advertising purposes.
We share data with the following trusted processors to operate the service:

Your resume analysis data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and resume content will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated analysis data may be retained indefinitely to improve the service.
Free-tier analyses without an account are retained for 7 days and then automatically deleted.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Resume content is stored encrypted at rest in Supabase. We follow industry-standard security practices and conduct regular reviews of our data handling. Despite our best efforts, no system is 100% secure — please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
ForgeResume is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify registered users via email and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
