Terms of Service

ForgeResume is an AI-powered resume analysis tool that helps job seekers improve their resumes for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). The Service includes ATS scoring, keyword gap detection, AI-powered improvement suggestions, and PDF/DOCX export functionality (for paid plans).

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using ForgeResume, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You may use the analysis feature without an account. An account is required to access paid features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that violates any law or third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or abuse the API
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise system security
• Impersonate other individuals or misrepresent your identity
• Use the Service to create content for fraudulent job applications

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without notice.

Your content: You retain full ownership of your resume content. By uploading a resume, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

Our content: The ForgeResume platform, including its code, design, AI models, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

AI-generated content: Resume suggestions and rewrites generated by our AI are provided for your personal use. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it.

ForgeResume offers two paid plans:

• Pro (₱499 one-time): Single purchase. Grants lifetime access to Pro features for one optimized resume. No subscription.
• Premium (₱159/month): Monthly subscription. Grants access to all Premium features. Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. All plans include a 7-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, email legal@forgeresume.work within 7 days of purchase.

Refunds after 7 days are at our sole discretion. Subscription cancellations prevent future charges but do not refund the current billing period.

The free tier provides limited analysis features. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue free-tier features at any time without notice. Usage limits may apply to prevent abuse.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED SUGGESTIONS WILL RESULT IN JOB OFFERS OR INTERVIEWS.

Resume analysis and suggestions are provided as tools to assist you — they are not guarantees of employment outcomes. You are solely responsible for the content of your final resume and any representations made to employers.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FORGERESUME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOST EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES OR DATA LOSS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
